This is the Bellevue Gate, which is open from 6 a.m. At the fourth stoplight (Lincoln Rd), turn left and enter the base straight ahead. Continue straight on Nebraska Highway 370 (Mission Ave). Cross the Bellevue Toll Bridge (toll is $1 one way). The SAC Gate is straight ahead approximately one mile.įrom the South, exit Interstate 29 at exit number 42 in Iowa, and turn west on Iowa Highway 370. To enter the SAC Gate, go south approximately seven miles and exit at Offutt AFB/Capehart Rd. Turn right off the exit, get into the left lane and turn into the Kenney Gate (with all the flags). Turn left and go under the overpass to the second exit (Offutt AFB/Fort Crook Road). To enter the Kenney Gate, go south approximately six miles and exit at Nebraska Highway 370. Highway 75 South, the Kennedy Freeway to Bellevue. Offutt AFB is 10 miles south of downtown Omaha in Bellevue, Neb., just six miles south of Interstate 80 at the Intersection of Capehart Road and U.S. There is also a base newspaper, called "The Pulse." This commercial paper is distributed by Suburban Newspapers using content primarily from the Offutt website. The Air Force Connect mobile app can be installed on Andriod or iOS devices and connected to Offutt for easy access to information. The base has a social media program with a Facebook page, Instagram page, Twitter page, Flickr page and YouTube channel.
